  • KS2 Easter Service

    KS2 pupils attended St Mary's and St David's Church to share the Easter story with parents and grandparents. A group of Year 4 pupils from room 9 performed a tableaux that refelcted the  Year 5/6 readings. Da iawn pawb.
  • Shakespeare Day

    Today, all pupils in Year 5/6 had a day dedicated to learning all about William Shakespeare. As well as learning about the works of Shakespeare pupils were given the opportunity to learn how to; write plays, create masks, use stage combat and how to act through the medium of dance. Parents were also invited into school to watch the pupils perform their work at the end of the school day. Watch this space for photos and videos of the day. 
  • Red Nose Day 2015

    Ysgol Gwynedd raised £398.32 for comic relief on day where pupils were invited to make the their faces funny for money. Thank you to all who participated in the day.
  • Town Hall Visit

    Fri 13 Mar 2015 Mr D Hughes
    Members of the school council visited Flint Town Hall this morning. The Year 5/6 members were invited by the Mayor of Flint and were given a tour of the building. Whilst in the council chamber the young councillors were able to experience what it would be like to be a town councillor. After having a mock debate in the chambers the pupils were then given the opportunity to ask the Mayor of Flint a variety of questions.
  • World Book Day

    Pupils came to school today dressed as their favourite book character to end a fantastic where they have been reading books and completing a variety of activities based on author's such as Roald Dahl, Julia Donaldson, Michael Morpurgo and many more.
