  • Year 4 @ Pentrellyncymer 2014

    The Year 4 pupils spent 3 days on a residential visit at Pentrellyncymer, nr Cerrigydrudion from Wednesday, 19th to Friday 21st March. The pupils had lots of fun participating in many activities including Bushcraft, Problem Solving, Rock Climbing and Orienteering. More photos will be available shortly.

  • It's OK to be different!!

    On Friday 21st March children were asked to wear odd socks in support of World Downs Syndrome Day which draws attention to the fact that we are all different and that’s OK. It stimulated discussion within each class through carpet and circle time. This is the 9th anniversary of World Downs Syndrome Day and each year the voice of people with Downs syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder.

  • Grand Opening of Cwrt Yr Ysgol

    Pupil from Ysgol Gwynedd were invited to the opening ceremony of the new residential buildings opposite the school entrance. The new building will house a mixture of small and large apartments and some with disabled access/facilities. The name given to the building is Cwrt Yr Ysgol, due to it's close proximity to our school. Adam, a Year 6 pupil at Ysgol Gwynedd was the 'guest of honour' and carefully cut the ribbon to officially open the building. He was joined by several dignitaries including local Councillor David Cox and the Welsh Assembly Members, Carl Seargeant and Sandy Mewies.
