    Fri 18 Jul 2014 Mr D Hughes

Another hard working year comes to an end and it's time to wish several members of our school 'Bon Voyage'. The Year 6 pupils, who have been a credit to themselves this year, will move on to pastures new in September as they embark on a new challenge in their respective High Schools. Thank you for the memories and good luck.

We also say goodbye to Mrs Morris (Year 6 and KS2 Manager) who will start her new role as Deputy Headteacher at Ysgol Y Parc (Llay) and Mrs Parry who will be retiring from her role as Additional Needs teacher. Thank you for your commitment and dedication over the years and we wish you luck on your new adventures.

    Thu 17 Jul 2014 Mr D Hughes

Pupils at Ysgol Gwynedd have been hard at work again producing posters to promote dental hygeine. As a design to smile flagship school we are proud to announce that Olivia in Year 6 had designed the winning entry that will promote dental health throughout Wales.

We were visited by Mr Andrew Jones who is the Director of the Health Board and he presented Olivia with her award. Although Olivia will be leaving us shortly to move to St Richard Gwyn School she will return in November when Ysgol Gwynedd will host a national celebration of dental health in our school hall.
